Stay original and monetizable

Course 2 · lesson 2 of 43 min

Platforms pay for original content. Learn what the originality score counts and how to raise it.

Step by step

  1. 1The meter on the Style step and the Originality tab of every video estimate how original your short is.
  2. 2What counts most: an AI voiceover, then captions, a headline, your logo and music.
  3. 3Below 45 is low, 45 to 74 medium, 75 and up high. Aim for high.
  4. 4Best Moments keeps the original audio, so it scores lower. On its Originality tab, press Make a voiceover version to get a narrated story.
  5. 5Add your logo once in the Brand Kit, and it goes on every new video.
  6. 6When you use someone else's footage, credit the original creator in your description.

Tips

  • Don't repost clips unchanged: re-uploads without edits can lose monetization and reach.
  • Skip engagement bait like “Comment YES if…”. Use the hook-style titles from the Post Kit instead.
  • Videos of 3 minutes or more can earn from in-stream ads on Facebook. Build them with Compilation.
  • The score is an estimate, not a guarantee. The platform always makes the final call.
